Last updated: 18 May 2026. This policy explains who owns the content published on betvouch.com and how to report a copyright infringement.
Ownership of content on BetVouch
Different types of content on BetVouch have different owners.
- Platform code and design — copyright VerifiedPress (KVK 42028625). All rights reserved.
- Editorial review text written by BetVouch — copyright VerifiedPress. This includes casino profiles, editorial scores, and any written analysis produced by BetVouch staff or contracted contributors.
- User-submitted reviews — copyright remains with the user who submitted the review. By posting a review, the user grants VerifiedPress a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display, translate, and distribute the review on BetVouch. That licence does not transfer ownership.
- Operator-supplied logos and brand assets — copyright belongs to the respective casino operator. BetVouch displays these assets on operator profile pages under press and review doctrine. Operators who wish to update or remove their assets should contact legal@betvouch.com.
BetVouch operates under EU Directive 2019/790 on copyright in the Digital Single Market and the Dutch Auteurswet. For rights-holders in the United States, the notice-and-takedown procedure below is consistent with DMCA Section 512(c)(3).
How to report a copyright infringement
If you believe content on betvouch.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to copyright@betvouch.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice". Your notice must include all of the following:
- Your full name and contact details (email address and postal address).
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The specific URL on betvouch.com where the allegedly infringing content appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the content is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Notices that omit required items may not be actioned. We cannot process notices submitted via social media or telephone.
What happens after we receive a notice
We review every notice within 5 business days. If the notice is valid and complete, we will remove or disable access to the content and notify the person who posted it. If the notice is incomplete or clearly without merit, we will inform you of the deficiency.
VerifiedPress reserves the right to forward your notice (including your contact details) to the person whose content is affected, as required to process the dispute.
Counter-notice procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to copyright@betvouch.com with the subject line "Copyright Counter-Notice". Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the content that was removed and its former URL on betvouch.com.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, postal address, and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands for any dispute arising from the counter-notice.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content after 10 business days unless the original complainant files a court action during that period.
Repeat infringers
Accounts against which two or more valid, uncontested copyright complaints are upheld will be terminated. This policy applies to all registered users and operator accounts.
